Pink & Creamy

Another limited edition from Colombia from our traditional farmer from our favourite variety! A sweet and juicy coffee with a distinct aroma of tropical fruits. Perfect as a sweet and fragrant filter as well as a juicy espresso! The cup is dominated by the high sweetness and intense acidity of pomegranate, which is beautifully complemented by a creamy texture reminiscent of papaya or dragon fruit. In the aftertaste there is a light and pleasant bitterness of almonds and pistachios. The Pink Bourbon variety is really very fragrant and its aromas remind us most of peaches, lychees, apricots and fruit tree blossoms.

Coffee from the Ortiz family is not new to our range. This time we have selected a lot that was co-created by father Libardo and son William. Finca La Cabaña is one of the farms we visited during our joint trip to Colombia with Chicas Industry, our coffee importers. A few years ago, also thanks to your help, we were able to get Will a green bean moisture meter to help him maintain quality and also with his experiments in coffee processing.

William is the main technologist on the farm, who takes care of all the processing. He is not afraid to experiment and is passionate about finding and trying new and interesting methods. In this case, his aim was to achieve the purest possible classic washed method in order to let the Pink Bourbon variety and its natural sweetness and tropical fruit aromas shine through.

This coffee has rightly earned a place in our limited edition and we hope you will enjoy this great coffee from "Little Will" as we do!
