The fourth book of the Gastromap is yolk yellow! Lukáš Hejlík brings 400 tips from all regions of the Czech Republic. On his travels, he counted what he had for breakfast. He tried 62 omelettes, 41 times it was eggs in glass. Few things have had such a recent resurgence as Turkish eggs, which he tested at 36 places. That's how many times he had pancakes, by the way. A total of 20 times it was buns with cream, 18 times sausages and 16 times avocado. Often it was just sandwiches or toast.
In the Czech Republic, he travelled the world and tried English breakfasts, French toast, Canadian pancakes, Belgian waffles, bagels from America, Middle Eastern shakshuka and Japanese okonomiyaki. He didn't forget the fans of sweet breakfasts either, eating pancakes, buns, porridge oats, rice and semolina. There was always coffee with it.
He also knows exactly how much he spent on all those breakfasts and brunches. But one thing he didn't keep count of - his cholesterol levels.
